Wedding Galleries Updated.
Looking for some of our wedding imagery? Well then you are looking for the wedding galleries.
We've updated them to include a range of weddings we have photographed, including a number of full, finished album designs.
Watch this space!
Unfortunately, we are in the midst of a re-model, I hope you will please forgive our mess. Right now the wedding section is still 'in the works' so most of the links are non-functional.
I hate to have done that, but we were pressed to get the new site up for our portrait special. :) I promise to get our new wedding section updated as quickly as possible!
In the meantime, we'll leave you with two images from our first wedding in three years: Jason and Amy. These are part of our 'Digital Oil Painting' series - we hope you enjoy them!
Our style of photography ...
Welcome to our weddings! We're glad you stopped by.
We are happy to once again be lending our eye to photographing weddings - we've missed them!
For those of you not 'in the know', we took a three year sabattical from wedding photography due to intense busy-ness in our volleyball photography business (www.vbpics.com). However, volleyball only takes up the January - June segment of our year and we missed weddings, so we are now offering them from July - December.
Our idea of photographing a wedding is very much in line with our idea of photographing anything - look for real moments, look for real emotion, pose a little as posssible (if at all) and capture the best images we know how.
There are a lot of words being tossed about in the wedding photography scene at the moment, such as 'photojournalistic' or 'reportage' or 'candid' or 'unobtrusive' or even 'contemporary traditional'.
Frankly, we don't know what the heck we are in terms of labels. We like all of those things - we want unscripted moments to be real, emotional and beautiful. We want images that are revealing and storytelling. But we also want want posed portraits or group pictures to be beautiful and elegant, fun and energetic.
We don't ask people to do things over again for the camera - we look for real moments. However, also will not disdain an impromptu group picture.
I guess you could say we're flexible. We want you to be happy and while we wouldn't want to photograph a wedding of just posed group pictures, we certainly recognize the importance of those images and are happy to take them.
