A little bit about me.

I grew up watching my father hand process black and white film and prints in the family darkroom and I myself began photographing nearly 20 years ago. What began as a hobby at the age of 15 quickly grew into a passion and I knew even then that I wanted photography to be my profession. After studying intensively for two years and a lucky meeting with a local photographer, I landed my first job as a photographer and custom black and white printer at the age of 17. In 2001, I decided that it was time to go out on my own and I started our studio with the goal of providing a business in which the family could work together.

Our studio has grown into a business which regularly travels the nation photographing youth volleyball (an unexpected but very enjoyable specialty). We are often found photographing portraits or weddings for families we meet in our travels. For years we photographed exclusively on location. However, I have never lost my love of portraits or of working with people one on one and I am very excited to have recently completed renovations on a beautiful new studio location.
